At the heart of the M60 set are two TK60 cardioid capsules, each built with a 15mm, 6-micron gold-sputtered membrane for lightning-fast transient response and a silky, unhyped top end. These precision capsules are coupled with Telefunken’s custom discrete Class A FET amplifier, offering ultra-clean performance, a broad frequency response (20 Hz – 50 kHz), and incredibly low self-noise at just 14 dBA.
But what really sets the M60 stereo set apart is its precision stereo matching—within ±1dB of sensitivity and ±1° of phase. That means instant phase-coherent imaging, wide stereo spread, and a natural sense of depth without the hassle of post-processing correction.
