The RME Digiface AVB is a powerful and portable interface built for professional AVB audio networking. Supporting up to 256 channels at 24-bit/192 kHz, it provides seamless integration into AVB-based systems for broadcast, live performance, and studio applications. Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port, word clock I/O, and USB connectivity, the Digiface AVB delivers reliable, ultra-low jitter performance via RME’s SteadyClock FS technology.

Flexible AVB Network Integration

Designed to meet the demands of modern network audio, the Digiface AVB offers: High Channel Counts – Up to 128 channels in and out at 44.1/48 kHz AVB Networking – IEEE 802.1BA compliant AVB stack with up to 16 input and 16 output streams Gigabit Ethernet Port – 802.3 compliant, compatible with 100 Mbps networks Word Clock I/O – BNC connectors for precision synchronization in master or slave mode Multiple Sample Rates – 32–8192 sample buffer sizes, with selectable network latency from 0.3125 ms to 2 ms

Advanced Monitoring and Control

The Digiface AVB integrates RME’s TotalMix FX software for comprehensive routing, submixing, and monitoring with 46-bit internal resolution. TotalMix Remote allows flexible remote operation from iOS, macOS, or Windows, while DIGICheck DSP provides advanced metering, analysis, and diagnostics. Powered directly via USB, it’s a truly mobile solution for high-end AVB audio networking.
