500 Series Summing — Use Any Module as Your Bus

The Epsilon 32-500 is the first summing mixer ever built to accept 500 series modules as its summing bus. Two onboard 500 series rackmount slots work with the included Kahayan Solid 4000 modules or any compatible 500 series preamp you already own — giving your summed signal the transformer color, saturation, and character of whichever module you choose to run.

External Bus mode opens the door to further expansion with outboard Kahayan rack modules like the Vintage 12k72 or additional Solid 4000 units, making the Epsilon 32-500 a platform that grows with your studio rather than a fixed piece of hardware you eventually outgrow.

Per-Channel Inserts, Master Fader, and Stereo Pre-Fader Insert

The first eight input channels each carry their own insert and pan control — giving you the ability to drop individual processors into specific channels of your analog sum before it hits the master bus. This is the kind of channel-level control that used to require a full-size console, now available in a 1U format.

A master fader, stereo pre-fader insert with true bypass, and a balanced master insert on DB25 round out a routing architecture that gives you complete control over every stage of the summing process. All inputs and outputs are balanced throughout — no compromises anywhere in the signal path.
