Inductor-Based 3-Band EQ With Vintage Topology

The onboard EQ section follows classic 73-style inductor-based circuit design, delivering the harmonic behavior and musical response the original module is famous for. A fixed 12kHz high-frequency shelf, six-position mid-band peaking from 360Hz to 7.2kHz, and a low-frequency shelf selectable between 35Hz, 60Hz, 110Hz, and 220Hz give you broad tonal shaping with vintage character.

An inductor-based high-pass filter is selectable at 50Hz, 80Hz, 160Hz, and 300Hz for clean low-end management on any source. Separate input and output gain controls let you dial in transformer saturation independently of output level for maximum tonal flexibility.

Versatile I/O Including DI, Line, and Impedance Switching

Beyond the mic input, each channel includes a dedicated line input XLR for adding transformer color to prerecorded tracks, and an ultra-high-impedance JFET-based DI placed ahead of the input transformer — ideal for adding grit and warmth to bass or guitar signals on the way in.

A 20dB pad protects the input transformer from hot sources, while the LOZ switch drops input impedance from 200 to 50 ohms for a tighter, more controlled response from certain microphones. Mil-spec construction and a classic RAF-gray faceplate round out a unit built to last.
