Description
Apogee Symphony 8x8 Audio Interface front view

Hybrid Flexibility. Apogee Fidelity. Built for the Modern Studio.

The Apogee Symphony Studio 8x8 was made for studios that need serious routing power without bloated configurations. With 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs, onboard DSP, and Apogee’s pristine conversion, the 8x8 gives hybrid engineers the freedom to track, mix, and route through analog gear or immersive speaker systems—all in a compact 1U USB-C interface. From summing stems and driving outboard compressors to setting up Dolby Atmos monitoring or room correction, the Symphony Studio 8x8 delivers incredible clarity, zero-latency monitoring, and unmatched control through the Symphony Control software. Whether you're working with a rack of gear, a patchbay, or a multichannel speaker array, this interface is the professional-grade heart your hybrid studio needs.

Engineered for Hybrid Workflows

With symmetrical 8x8 I/O, the Symphony Studio 8x8 excels in analog-heavy setups. Each input features a transparent mic pre with up to 75dB of gain—ideal for dynamic and ribbon mics—while the DB25 output lets you patch directly into analog compressors, EQs, summing mixers, or surround monitoring chains. And thanks to onboard DSP, you can apply Apogee’s classic Channel Strip (EQ, compression, and analog-style drive) on input, and use built-in room correction tools to fine-tune your speaker output with zero added latency.

USB-C Performance, Apogee Precision

Using a modern USB-C interface, the Symphony Studio 8x8 delivers low-latency recording and playback on both macOS and Windows. It's class-compliant and optimized for all major DAWs including Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton, Cubase, and Studio One. No extra drivers, no fuss—just reliable performance when and where you need it. Whether you're mixing a surround project or reamping stems through analog gear, you’ll experience the signature depth, stereo imaging, and detail that Apogee conversion is known for.
