The RME 12Mic-D Dante is a professional-grade 12-channel microphone and line-level preamp designed for high-end studios, broadcast facilities, and live production environments. Featuring pristine 75 dB gain preamps, transparent A/D conversion, and fully redundant Dante networking, it delivers uncompromising audio quality and robust system integration for demanding workflows.

Dante, MADI, and Flexible Connectivity

With dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for low-latency, MILAN/Dante-compatible audio networking, the 12Mic-D integrates seamlessly into modern IP-based production systems. Built-in coaxial and optical MADI, plus triple ADAT outputs, make it equally at home in hybrid setups where Dante, MADI, and ADAT coexist. The unit supports full redundancy for both network and power, ensuring uninterrupted operation in mission-critical applications.

Precision Audio with Remote Control

Each of the 12 inputs delivers up to 75 dB of gain without pads, with the first four channels featuring XLR/TRS combo connectors and switchable Hi-Z for direct instrument recording. High-resolution converters offer >120 dBA SNR and <0.00063% THD+N, while SteadyClock FS guarantees jitter-free performance. Configuration is possible from the front panel or via network-based remote control over LAN or Wi-Fi.
